Jack's Photo Links Page - A Unique Visit at Stile Bertone

The following pictures were taken on Tuesday, April 21st, when my wife and I and Uno Junghans of Denmark were granted permission to visit the famous museum at Stile Bertone

near the village of Caprie.  During the visit, I was granted access to all the cars for inspection, to sit in, and to actually take outside for rides! I rode out in an immaculate red Countach

Quattrovalvole and then continued around the grounds for a couple of loops. Next came a ride in one of the most famous Lamborghinis ever - the Marzal. Our driver was Marco, the

manager of the museum, and he regaled Uno and I with an extensive ride around the Bertone grounds. For a fan of vintage Lamborghinis, it just doesn't get any better!

Profuse thanks to Executive Brand and Design Director, Michael Robinson, who set it all up, and to Chief Designer Adrian Griffiths who was our host during this exciting day.

An Alfa Romeo prototype. Great lines!

An elegant and beautiful Bently design.

I didn't get the model but it sure is pretty.

A view to the lower floor from topside.

The fabulous Lamborghini Bravo.

Side view of the gorgeous Lamborghini Bravo.

Bravo as seen from the back. Pretty from any angle.

Marcos shows us he can fit into the Bravo (barely).

The is the entry at Stile Bertone. I want one!

The driver's seat view in the Marzal.

Riding around the grounds in the Marzal. A real treat, to put it mildly.

Jack takes the very comfortable driver's seat in the Marzal.

You can tell I like the passenger seat too. (This is where Princess Grace once sat).

Getting into the Marzal. What a car!

Looking into the Marzal through all that glass.

The Marzal engine. One-half of an Miura engine turned around.

Another shot of the Marzal's six cylinder engine.

A nice shot of the interior. Silver leather.

A rear quarter view of the Marzal.

The rear seats are comfortable too.

Note the unusual wheels used on the Marzal.

Uno checks out the driver's seat in the Marzal.

Very different steering wheel in the Testudo.

Hmmm - that looks like a Corvair engine (it is!).

The little concept car is very comfortable.

Jack hunkers down in the Stratos prototype. Very tight fit.

It took a shoe horn to get me in this car. Entry is over the front.

The back of the Lancia Stratos prototype.

Nice shot of the Athon.

The Lamborghini Athon is much roomier.

Nice Iso on the top floor.

Marcos and Adrian look on as Uno and I have all the fun.

Another group of beauties.

The Miura is in the work shop for some water pump repairs.

The Countach QV with the downdraft carbs. Just over 2000 km on the odometer!

The Quattrovalvole engine in the Countach.

The Bertone "Slim" in the museum. It really is.

Another view of the Testudo with the top up.

Uno squeezes into the Bravo.

Uno checks out the later Lancia Stratos with the Ferrari Dino engine.

Uno goes for a ride in the QV. Both of us did and it was great.

There is a very pretty silver Espada on the floor too.

View behind Stile Bertone. It is a picturesque area.
