Also shown is the bridge construction project begun in early July, 2006 (from a Kit!)

The post holes are dug for the new walkway for the pool.

All the sprinkler pipes and controls are repositioned.

Some of the bridge kit near the construction area.

The newly-arrived bridge beams are carried over the gorge. Whew!

The bridge beams are now partially braced with cross braces.

The beams are all braced except the center. I made some for there.

Some of the decking planks are getting stained too.

The beams are fully braced and freshly stained. Ready for decking.

The bridge (now stained) showing the cross-bracing. Strong!

All the decking is down and I started the handrail assembly.

All the decking 2x6's are finally in place. The bridge is now very rigid and strong.

A view from the pool side of the bridge. Partial handrails.

A view from the other side towards the pool.

The bridge is finally completed and freshly stained. View from the gorge.

The completed bridge as viewed from the other side of the pool.

A view to the fruit trees. Doesn't look like 20-feet (but it IS).

The walkway. Stain is still a bit wet.
